Thud, Thud, Thud.
The sound of small feet tapping lightly on the ground was soft. A thick fog was setting, due to temperature changes. It was thick, and the sun as setting. It had an eerie feel to it. The forest was dead silent. Not a bird croaked, not a being moved. The only things was a small form. The silhouette of someone moving briskly through, as though they were late.
Thud, Thud, Thud.
Kyo pulled the black cloak, which shielded her small form, closer to her body. She could hear her heart in her ears. She was a fool for staying to late at the market. The fruits in the bags smelled nice. But the smells were not paid attention to, as her surrounding passed by her in a blur. She was no longer walking, as she had been earlier. She was sprinting. Her light was fading fast. Her fear of night was sad. But in her case understandable. She feet carried her swiftly across the land. A soft 'thud' here and there. Her breath was soft, only slightly labored. She had long forgotten when she first started running. She looked up quickly, the Sun dipping down below the horizon. The night was coming. She ran faster, where was her little wooden cottage?

He was letting Rogue rest after there little ordeal. His shaggy warm cout danced around his slender body. He was looking for Kyo, his mate. Not sure where she got off too, but hopefully she didn't have any trouble in the market. His nose to the ground he took in all the sents around him. He raised his now and blew out the dirt and snow that was falling. Lunar woods seemed to always be covered in a dust of snow. Making it look like the beams of the moon.
He spotted the small female and lifted his muzzle to the air and let out a soft howl to call heer towards him. He then shifted wrapped in a long black cloak to keep himself warm. Long shaggy black hair fall around his features. Odd for him to take a bride so much younger then himself. His dark navy blue eyes showed how tired he was. Between problems with the pack and problems with Moon dreamers and Bloodline.
His body soon came to stand beside the young female. "Kyo... you shouldn't of stayed out so late, and alone. We have people causing problems around here. Many would insure or hurt you... I can't allow this." He stated softly his fingers coming out and running slowly along the young females cheek and shoulders. "Come.. we need to get out of the wind..." He would say calmly. He took the food and would walk her towards the cabins that belonged to the lunar pack. "Any trouble in town?"
Craven was tall and had long black hair that came down to his shoulders and was shaggy. His eyes where navy blue, and his skin as pale and beautiful as the lunar beams that came from the moon.

Her pace slowed. The markings were becoming familiar. She knew where she was. The sky now was black. The only i luminous object in the sky was the moon. She stopped, tilting her head up to stare at the large glowing rock. The black velvet hood covering her head, slid back. Her head was out in the open. Small snow flurries stuck to her face before melting. Her brilliant blue eyes glowed in the night, as did her light flushed skin. Her hair, which had once been tucked neatly in the hood, fell in a waterfall of chocolate strands. The soft call of a wold had the corners of her mouth tilting upward. She'd know that call anywhere. It was Craven.
Coming back down to Earth, she turned to watch him advance toward her. She stood where the tees were open, allowing large beam, like a spot light, to shine upon her. Craven was her mate. She didn't even remember really how it happened. She was happy yes. There were a few jealous females, but Kyo tried her best to ignore them. Craven was a good looking man. To her, the best of the pack. The other men were more gruff, and large. They intimidated her, and never on her own would she approach them. She kept to herself more then anything. She was surprised Craven even chose her. She wasn't special, not at all. She wasn't strong, a person who could rule with an iron fist. She was the opposite. She didn't know what he saw in her.
"Kyo... you shouldn't of stayed out so late, and alone. We have people causing problems around here. Many would insure or hurt you... I can't allow this."
She leaned into a touch, his fingers warm. He knew her thing about the dark. It wasn't a secret. It was scary sometimes. But tonight she had lucked out. There was a full moon. She made him worry. "I'm fine," She told him. She offered a soft smile, bringing a small hand to cover his own. She was small compared to him, in a feminine sense. He wasn't as bulky as some, but she knew he was the strongest. She could fight, but didn't like it. Why he chose her, would forever be a mystery. But even with the moon it wasn't safe. Someone was dumping bodies. She didn't like pointing fingers. The clues were scarce, best not jump to conclusions.
"Come.. we need to get out of the wind..."
The said gusts danced about with her hair. A small wind, but cold. The bags were removed from her hands, as he carried them. How gentlemen like of him. When he started to walk, so did she. She rarely went to her cottage. Craven had wanted to live among the pack, she wouldn't argue it. She just tried to get out of peoples way. Never causing trouble.
"Any trouble in town?"
The town, was a battle field. Her being small was an issue too. No one seems to see the small people in life. "Nope, none," She told him. The occasional shove, but no trouble. She looked up, him towering over he only slightly. His deep blue eyes told many things. "You need to rest." He was tired. She could see it. Being alpha was hard. She could see it. All she could do was help. She cooked, cleaned, bathed, massaged, and bedded. When it came to things among the pack or other clans, she couldn't do anything.

"i'm fine, there is no time for rest right now." Craven stated carrying the young girls bags towards the cabins. It was a bit of a walk. "We have some freash dear caught... if you will fix it..." He smiled at her. She was a bit younger then him, and beautiful. He worried about her getting trampled if another war broke out. His litterr that dead not to long ago was gone. They dead when Dreamer broke in to thier lands. He had yet to breed again in worry of they would attack again before they are big enought to run.
He stood close to heer so the wind didn't push in to her. Once at the cottage he would oopen the door for her and the heat from the fire would hit in to them as they walked in to the warm cabin. He shook off his long black hair getting the snow out and slid out of his black boots that where covered in dusted snow. He looked at his small bride and smiled. "you should really take me or rogue with you.. you shouldn't wonder off with out the pack..."

"I'm fine, there is no time for rest right now."
She let out a soft sigh. She wasn't sure who made the other worry more. His health and happiness was more important to her tn herself. She knew he was doing it all for the pack. He worked so hard. She wondered if she was the only one who acknowledged his work. She Felt for him, how he was trying keep everyone together. She didn't know the outcomes, but she was there for him. If everyone left, she would stay. So much was happening, e had to stay on his toes. She couldn't relax to much either. It wouldn't be wise of either of them. "If you can't find time to rest," She stated softly,"Then please do try to take is easy for me." Her blue orbs watched him with concern. She didn't want him to drop out of nowhere.
"We have some fresh dear caught... if you will fix it..."
His smiled warmed his heart. There were only a few times he would ask her to fix dinner. He either would eat with the pack, or would go without food at all. There were times where he was busy with Rogue. Rogue was having a hard time, and she felt for him. She could understand why Craven cared so much for him. She wouldn't say a thing, when he'd leave for Rogue, leaving her at home. Sure he wasn't far, but she did get lonely. "Of course," She told him a small smile placed upon her angelic face. She loved playing her bride like duties. It gave her something to do. If she wasn't eating, cooking, cleaning, or sewing, she was doing nothing. She couldn't do much to aid Craven with pack duties.
"you should really take me or rogue with you.. you shouldn't wonder off with out the pack..."
How he worried. She knew he had good reasons for it. She was glad he worried for her. Glad he cared. She cared much for him herself. "I'm fine. Besides, You and Rogue have enough on your plate as it is," She tried to explain," I didn't want to bother you." He had more important things to think about. Rogue, was on the edge of insanity as it was. She wouldn't deny, she feared he might attack his own someday. But Craven, maybe he was scared of something else. He had lost his ow pups to another pack. That must have been hard for him. She did wonder where the mother had gone to, but never ask. It wasn't any of her business. She rather not think of herself as a replacement.
The warm hair was nice, as it hit her face. She tugged her cloak of hanging it on a hook upon the wall. She gently kicked off her slippers setting them against the wall in a tidy fashion. The smell of animal flood hit her nose, not doubt deer. She walked slowly into the kitchen, preparing for the worst. There had been one time, she found a bloody mess in her kitchen, and had to spend a whole week trying to get the blood stains out. She didn't know what Craven did, but it never happened again. The deer was already skinned, and the meat was laid on the counter in huge chunks. Where the body was, she didn't know. She stretched, arching her back to stretch it. She turned to craven, a soft simple placed upon her face.

He contenued to walk with her until they came to the cabin. He shivered as he took off his jacket and boots and placed them by the door on the hanger, his coat. HIs long hair moved behind him as he followed her in to the kitchen. "Sorry about the mess... Me and Rogue where cleaning the dear up.... I will clean it up." He stated as he picked up a rag and cleaned off the counter. Yeah, they where messy, but that came from livin with two males in the house. They where the only ones in his cabin.
He brushed his dark bangs out of his face before looking towards his mate. She was small butu he cared dearly for her. He pushed himself off the counter and walked over to heer. His fingers ran along her face. "You look frozen.. even if me and Rogue are busy, just ask us... i'm sure one of us can stay here and watch our home, while two go to town... please... do not go alone anymore." eh almost pleaded. With the mishaps that where happning around his pack, it wasn't safe. Slowly Craven was becoming warn out. His pack ... he was loosing it. He was nothing like his grandfather and father. They both fall at the fangs of Morphus, his grandfather in moments, his father a week later from infection from the wound.
He sighed and leaned back against the counter his mind rasing agian. He already lost his pups to a raid on their home. He missed his oldist son who dead not to long ago.

"Sorry about the mess... Me and Rogue where cleaning the dear up.... I will clean it up."
A soft smile, was placed upon her face. Warm as it was. Did he always apologize? It wasn’t his fault. Slowly she made her way over to him, graceful steps. Once there her small hand was placed upon his. A shiver of the contact was all, but she pushed it aside. “It’s fine, I’ll get the rest,” She spoke softly to him, “Were home, go relax.” All he did was work. What did she need to do to make him relax? A bubble bath, and a rub down massage? His life was eat, work, sleep, and more work. The pack, as important as it was, was tiring him out. She wouldn’t call him out on it, but it upset her slightly. For all he does for the pack, they leave. She wanted to growl and snarl at them, the ungrateful maggots. But she dare not say a word. The rag was pulled out of his hand, where she proceeded to clean up the rest, as little as there was. Once the mess was gone, not a stain in sight, it was placed in the sink. The sink itself was filled with hot water. She didn’t want a stained rag, it was still good.
"You look frozen.. even if me and Rogue are busy, just ask us... I’m sure one of us can stay here and watch our home, while two go to town... please... do not go alone anymore."
She brought her hands up, brushing them lightly down in face, offering one of her soft smiles. It was slightly cold outside, but she wasn’t frozen. Her skin tone was already very light. “Would you really leave rogue on his own, or let him go to town with me, alone?” She asked, a slender brow raising. She was skeptical of that idea. She doubted Craven would. Rogue could barely hold on as it was. She had watched one night as they were both outside arguing. They had jut come back from the vampire night club. Why Craven had gone was beyond there. Whether is be for sex, she’s rather not think about it. She was his mate, after all. If he was going to mess around with others girls he wouldn’t have claimed her. It was true though she was a virgin in a sense. A physical virgin, yes. She had lost that to a vampire. She didn’t remember it, and plus it was rape. She wasn’t a willing virgin simple to put it. Since then, she hadn’t slept with anyone else. She hadn’t even slept with her mate yet. He was too busy, or tired. Not that she minded… much.
He leaned his back against the counter. She moved toward him more. She watched him, he was thinking. She couldn’t help but feel like a bad wife. She didn’t know what to do. She felt useless. She wasn’t even useful in bed for crying out loud. She grabbed his large hand, and pulled it up to her supple lips. She traced the top of his knuckles with light butterfly kisses. She smiled at him a warm one, kissing it once again. “What’s on your mind?” She asked. They hadn’t seen much of each other, so catching up would be nice to her. She massaged the hand in her much smaller one, kneading it for knots.

Dark eyes merely watched the woman before him as she spoke. His long black hair moved down against his pale features and eyes. He was soo tired, and yes, they hadn't slept together or done anything. HE pushedh is long hair back behind his shoulders. He just smiled. "What is wrong? Your asking me alot of questions... Nothing happened at the club. We merely went for a drink or too. To get Rogue out of the pack lands and away from the others. I was trying ot get him to feed... it is almost imposable."
His arms uncurled and slowly reached out drawing the young woman against him. He knew her pains, and what she had went through. She hated the thought of a vampire touching her or even thanking about it. Slowly his fingers draw the young girl towards him and wrapped her tightly in his arms. "I have been negalating you while helping my friend... I'm sorry... " He whispered against her ear. Holding her tightly against his chest protectively. He slowly turned his head to the side and gave her a soft peck on the lips, before slowly deeping it. now, they hadn't mated, but they where still close. He knew his worries for there lands was horrible.
He would slowly rub her back as he held her close. "I'm sorry... forgive me?"

"What is wrong? Your asking me a lot of questions... Nothing happened at the club. We merely went for a drink or too. To get Rogue out of the pack lands and away from the others. I was trying to get him to feed... it is almost imposable."
She laughed softly for his worry. She had simply been curious, it wasn't like she was demanding for answers. If he chose not to tell her, then she wouldn't push for them. "Nothing is wrong love, can't I ask some questions without making it seem like the world is ending?" She joked at him, keeping the tone light. He was already tired, worrying him anymore would just be plain cruel. As his wife, if was her duty to make him happy and comfortable. If not, then she had failed. "Give him some time. He'll have to sooner of later," she informed him. Rogue would have to drink, or die She had heard that the Vampire club offered human blood, without having to actually bite a human himself. Rogue could do that right? Drink from a flask without a face or body?
She could hear him make a little movement infront of her, but didn't pay any really attention. It merely sounded like he was shifting. When she felt warm hands wrap around her waist, she couldn't help but let out a surprised gasp. She was suddenly drawn into a muscled chest, where she could feel them ripple with every movement. A shiver ran down her back at the contact. Her cheeks were a bright red. She may be in her twenties, but when it came to this kind of stuff, she was a simple teenage. Being in his arms like now, as a new feeling.
"I have been neglecting you while helping my friend... I'm sorry... "
She took a deep breath in, along with his intoxicating smell. She felt like butter in his arms. Her chest was pushed up against his chest, in his protective hold. She looked up, into his beautiful blue eyes, where her heart almost stopped. She swore she could ere her heart pounding in her chest. She felt so embarrassed. "I know how important Rogue is to you. You have to fight to keep your pack. They can leave you at any time. I won't ever, so you don't have to worry about me," She promised him, face still slightly flushed. When warm lips were on hers, her heart skipped a beat. It was simply amazing. Her eyes slipped shut, enjoying the feeing, which she hadn't really experienced before. But like all good things, it ended. He pulled away, and she couldn't help but pout. She bit her lip softly, as his hands began to massage her back. She didn't want any unexpected sounds coming out, which would embarrass her even more.
"I'm sorry... forgive me"
She smiled, leaning her head on his chest. She couldn't hear his heartbeat. "Of course silly," She teased him, snuggling into his warm embrace.
